the adventure session

You might have felt this at some point. some days feel endlessly long. the chaos in the house, appointments for every member of the family, the laundry piling up, you have to be here and there and bake a cake too. you’re tired and overwhelmed and it’s hard to just be and enjoy the present. i know all too well that it can be hard to sit in the moment and appreciate it. but i also know that while the days feel long, the years are, in fact, short.

I created this offer not only so you have a photo or video shoot, to something tangible to hold on to, but I created it so you could really sit with your family or friends and have a chance for quality time outdoors. i believe in intentional time spent with the people you love. it’s not about the photos. it’s about the presence with your people. to enjoy a picnic or a bonfire. Playing some games and exploring. and while you do this, I document your joy, the version of the people you are in this moment. so you can look back at those photos or that video, when all these years have passed.

This is not a photoshoot but an experience. A picnic in a meadow, a bonfire by the river, an afternoon spent fully in the present with the people you love.

I create and set up the scene and you just show up and live it. The first part of our time is just getting comfortable. A few natural family moments while everyone finds their feet. Then I get out of the way. Your kids get to be feral. You get to be there with them.

I have a few things up my sleeve if anyone needs a nudge but mostly, I just watch. And quietly photograph what I see. 

You leave with a gallery of images, or a short film that holds the feeling of that day.
